Do you miss System of a Down? Me too. They are out on the road playing some shows, some overseas, some here in the states, none in Michigan unfortunately. That's where the miracle of technology comes in! They posted Sunday's entire show from Nurburg, Germany and it's actually high quality video and audio. You're Welcome.

System has been on hiatus since 2006, which came shortly after the release of their massively successful and critically acclaimed 'Mesmerize/Hypnotize' split double LP. In their downtime vocalist Serj Tankian has released two solo albums; 2007's 'Elect the Dead' and 2010's 'Imperfect Harmonies'. Guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan split off to form Scars on Broadway whose self-titled debut album dropped in 2008. Bassist Shavo has also done some side work with the Wu-Tang Clan and his solo album under the alias 'Achozen' has been awaiting a release date and a distributor for over two years. While all of these side projects kept the members of the SOAD busy, they were not greater than the sum of their parts.

The band is back together (for now) and playing shows all over the world, they even have a handful of US dates. No plans for a new album have been announced but the fact that they are all together on the road and actually talking to each other again is a definite sign of improvement. Sunday they played a show at the Rock Am Ring festival in Nurburg, Germany that was filmed in DVD quality. The setlist includes such hits as 'Toxicity', 'Chop Suey', 'Aerials', 'Sugar' and about 19 other tracks spanning their entire career. Check out the video (that is split into 3 parts) below!
