Way to Go Gary – Flint Man Wins Detroit’s Biggest Fan Title

This is so exciting.

Not only was Gary Campioni recently named Detroit's Biggest Lions Fan, but the Flint man also just won the title of Detroit's Biggest Fan. How awesome is that? Gary was up against Detroit's Biggest Tigers Fan and Detroit's Biggest Red Wings Fan and thanks to so many of you - he received the most votes and won!

Along with the title of Detroit's Biggest Fan, Gary won Detroit Lions season tickets. As Detroit's Biggest Lions Fan, he is already a season ticket holder and has been for years. Gary (aka Macho Mane) plans to share the additional tickets with friends and family.

I asked Gary how he feels about being honored with the title of Detroit's Biggest Fan and this is what he said,

I am completely thrilled. This experience has been completely humbling. First it was winning the Detroit Lions Biggest Fan title and now to be named Detroit's Biggest Fan, well; I'm still letting that one sink in a little.

 

What I do know is Detroit has an incredible fanbase. We stick with our teams through thick and thin, and there are a ton of fans that could have been up for this title too.

 

I want to thank #TeamGary and everyone that voted and kept voting; we did it! I also need to give a big shout-out to Banana 101.5, The Machine Shop and Cars 108 for all of their support! We did it!

I have known Gary Campioni for many years and know very well his dedication to the Detroit Lions, this is a well-deserved honor. Congratulations Macho Mane, we love you!
