What’s Your Favorite Faygo & Better Made Combination
Michigan's favorite POP (simmer down Vernors fans...we see you seething over there).
Michigan's favorite chips.
Any party store you walk into will have them. And depending on how non-franchise, independently owned, and neighborhood your local store is, the better chance you'll find an exotic flavor of Better Made Chip and Faygo pop.
There are over 50 Faygo flavors. Including some new ones I ran across while taking photos. Candy Apple? Golden (which will once again infuriate you Vernors fans)? Cotton Candy?
Faygo was sold only in Detroit and Michigan into the late 1950s because it had a limited shelf life. These problems were later solved by chemists. Chemists with chemistry degrees. It’s science. (Thrillist)
And not to be outdone, Better Made boasts 22 flavors of chips and not including cheese curls, pork rinds, popcorn and pretzels. According to their website 124 flavors, 23,048 stores, and 90 years in the game.
And just when you thought you'd seen them all, you stumble upon the magic that is this.
Better Made has been doing it since 1930 and they know what they are doing,. Who are we to judge? Just...name choice people.
So we have 50 flavors of pop and 124 flavors of chips/snack.
The combinations are endless. But we want to know what's your favorite?
We've taken the time to give you some ideas and put the pictures all in one place. Take a look at the Faygo and Better Made choices pictured below and let the debate begin.
