People really love Rob Zombie's 'The Devil's Rejects,' a sequel to what I consider a far superior film (I'm in the minority on that opinion) -- 'House of 1000 Corpses.' Many believed the film's pretty definitive ending didn't leave much room for a sequel, but when you look closely, you never actually see the rejects meet their maker. Though that outcome is heavily implied, it was never visually displayed.

So, here we are 14 years later and Zombie's follow-up, '3 From Hell' is coming to theaters. Pretty simple concept, right? A movie usually comes out on Friday, hangs out for a couple of weeks -- you know the drill. Unfortunately, that is not how this film is being released, so listen up if you want to see it.

'3 From Hell' is playing in theaters for 3 DAYS ONLY... and only ONCE PER DAY. Now, I'm no math scientist, but that's only 3 showings. The screenings are being done by Fathom Events, each of which will contain different bonus content.

More crucially for those of you who are local -- there is only one Flint area theater hosting these events, which is Flint West 14. They will have the film on 2 screens, so you should be able to get into one of the screenings.

Starting Monday, September 16th and ending Wednesday, September 18th there will be one nightly screening of '3 From Hell' at 7p. You can purchase your tickets at the theater, the theater's website, or via the Fathom Events website.

As I previously mentioned, each night's screening features different bonus content, which is as follows:

Night 1 – Featuring a special video introduction with Rob Zombie and a commemorative poster (limited quantities; first-come, first-served.)

Night 2 – Featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film PLUS Cinemark locations will be distributing an exclusive bumper sticker designed by Rob (first-come, first-served)

Night 3 – Featuring the ultimate double feature with 3 From Hell and The Devil’s Rejects

This is a tough break for Rob Zombie fans who are second shifters, who maybe didn't hear about this in time to make the proper arrangements. The good news is the film is set to be released on home video just under a month from now on October 14th -- just in time for Halloween.
