Woman Claims Dog Smelled Breast Cancer

This is pretty incredible.

An Atlanta woman claims her dog smelled cancer in her breast and doctors believe this to be true!

Carol Witcher says her eight year old boxer would paw at her right breast and nip at her.  After a few days of this happening she finally went to a doctor and was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.

Ms. Witcher said, quote:

"When he sniffed me, he kind of turned back and really pushed into my right breast, real hard. He pushed real hard for one shot, then he looked at me straight in the face, took his right foot and began to paw my right breast. And I thought, "This is not good".

I am not sure why this story is just coming out now because it happened in 2008.  However,  Ms. Witcher has been cancer free for two years.  Awesome!

Another neat thing about this story is the boxer was a rescue dog.  The woman saved him and the dog in turn saved her.
