Woman Uses Lighter To Look Under Bed, Sets Apartment On Fire

An Indiana woman used a lighter to look under her bed for something, resulting in a house fire.  The homes entire interior was burned.  What was she looking for under the bed?  Sounds like a case for Fire Marshall Bill!

Elaine Thomas escaped with a hand burn, still what the hell was she using a lighter under the bed for?  If you have so much stuff under your bed, that you need a lighter to see it - you are probably a hoarder or attempting to smoke something under your bed.

Indy Star is reporting that the lighter ignited the thin cloth under the box spring and soon the mattress and rest of the apartment were on fire.  It has not been reported as to what the hell she was looking for?

Unless you are fire proof or flame retardant, lighters and beds don't mix - and that is one to grow on!
