Woodchips BBQ in Lapeer County will once again serve free meals to those in need on Christmas Day 2025.

This marks the seventh year the downtown Lapeer restaurant has generously offered this gift to the community.

Woodchips BBQ owners Patrick Hingst and Jessica Harold, together with their team and volunteers, are behind the annual Christmas dinner.

Woodchips BBQ Free Community Christmas Dinner Menu

Christmas dinner at Woodchips BBQ will be served buffet-style. Options will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Pulled Pork
• BBQ Brisket
• Macaroni & Cheese
• Chicken Pot Pie
• Roasted Brussels Sprouts
• Biscuits

What time is Woodchips offering the free Christmas dinner buffet?

The buffet will be open to guests on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and will be served from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Woodchips BBQ is at 315 West Nepessing Street in lovely downtown Lapeer.

The team at Woodchips BBQ, along with Kooky’s N’ Cream and Lighting Rounds, is known for constantly giving back. They continue to find ways to support the community, whether through events, donations, or lending a hand to those in need.

Just last month, free meals were provided to those impacted by the government shutdown.
