WTF? Bud Light Seltzer to Feature Pumpkin Spice Flavor
Just when you thought the world couldn't get any worse.
After the last two years, I didn't think the world could get much worse. That was until I opened up the internets today. I was 100% not ready for what I was about to see, which says a lot as I'm used to nothing but garbage and anger online. However, this particular article hit too close to home.
I was saddened to see that one of my favorite go-to beers had decided to jump on the pumpkin spice bandwagon. This fall, Anheuser-Busch will be releasing a limited-edition Bud Light Seltzer Fall Flannel variety pack. To answer your question, yes, it is as bad as what you think.
The Bud Light Seltzer Fall Flannel pack will include the following flavors:
- Bud Light Seltzer Pumpkin Spice
- Bud Light Seltzer Toasted Marshmallow
- Bud Light Seltzer Maple Pear
- Bud Light Seltzer Apple Crisp
What the hell is the world coming to? These 12-ounce, 5% ABV, slim can abominations will be available starting on September 6th and remain on the shelves through the end of October.
For those of you that want to give this garbage a shot, they are made with cane sugar, natural flavors, have 100 calories per can, and less than one gram of sugar.
There is a lot of stuff in the world that we all need to fight against right now and these new Bud Light Seltzers just jumped to the top of the list. Pumpkin spice is infecting everything and it needs to be stopped. If anyone knows of a pumpkin spice protest, let me know where and when.
Special disclaimer here. This is NOT an attack on Bud Light. Bud Light is delicious and my beer of choice. So I ask you Bud Light to stand with us in this fight against pumpkin spice world domination. With you at the helm we can end this tyranical takeover of our favorite things from the pumpkin powers that be.
