News of this collaboration broke some time ago, but now we have the entire version of William Shatner's awful cover of Black Sabbath's classic 'Iron Man' -- featuring Black Label Society frontman and all around bad ass, Zakk Wylde, on guitar and vocals.

Zakk Wylde is the man. He was axeman for Ozzy Osbourne for nearly two decades and probably has his blessing to do as he pleases with the Ozzman's back catalog. While his guitar playing and vocals are incredible on this cover from Shatner's upcoming double-album 'Seeking Major Tom' -- Shatner sounds like a drunken fratboy at karaoke night everytime he uses the mic here.

For all the good that Zakk Wylde brings to this track, which also features former Ozzy and current Alice in Chains bassist Mike Inez, Shatner destroys with his condescending gravelly vocals.

His album features a wealth of classic rock legends like Deep Purple's Ritchie Blackmore, Wayne Kramer of the MC5, Scorpions' Michael Shenker, and Bootsy Collins. 'Seeking Major Tom' is a collection of rock covers from Captain Kirk -- other songs he most assuredly butchers include 'Bohemian Rhapsody',' Space Cowboy', and 'Rocket Man'.

It is uncertain how the rest of the disc, which is due October 11th, will turn out -- but as for your cover of 'Iron Man' Mr. Shatner, we award you no points... well, maybe 2 points for having enough sense to bring Zakk Wylde in to record the track.
