Michigan Man Sets Car + Gas Pump On Fire Trying to Kill Spider [VIDEO]

It's the kind of headline that usually starts with "Florida Man," but this time it's straight outta Center Line, Michigan, where a man accidentally set fire to his car and a gas pump in an attempt to kill a spider.

Some spiders are terrifying. I'll admit that. However, this dude flips the eff out when he sees one and almost takes the spider, himself, and a whole city block down with him. I guess I get his method for killing the creature. After all, the number one response to online pictures of nightmare-inducing spiders online is "Kill it with fire!" His choice to use that method at a gas pump is, perhaps, the dumbest decision ever made though.

The man was lucky enough to walk away with his life, but there is still no word on the spider.
