I love seeing new restaurants opening in our area. One spot I am super excited about will be coming to Linden this November. The very talented Chef Jody Brunori and Sous Chef Mandy Murphy will be opening a farm to fork restaurant in downtown Linden called 120 North.

If you are not familiar with 'farm to fork', 120 North will only be serving locally sourced ingredients, cooked from scratch. According to Chef Jody, the restaurant will be partnering with McDowell Family Farm and will be showcasing their heritage pork and black Angus beef. Each dish will be crafted to compliment the protein.

120 North will be upscale casual, serving approachable, craveable comfort food with a twist. You know I am not playing when I asked Chef Jody if alcohol would be served - good news, it will be. Dinner service will be available upon opening, with seating for 70 people.

Chef Jody is one of the best, if not the best chef in our area. Since leaving The Laundry in Fenton, she has continued to wow us with her work at The Burger Bar & Tap. You have got to try the Reuben Egg Rolls and the Cauliflower Pizza - so good!

As Chef Jody prepares for her next adventure, I asked her how she feeling about setting up shop in Linden,

'I am so incredibly excited to be a part of the development of the city of Linden!! I am excited to partner with an amazing talent, Mandy Murphy and to share our passion of creative cooking to a hopefully hungry audience!!'

I think I can speak for many people when I say, we are behind you one hundred percent. You most certainly can count on a hungry audience.
