$700K Former Garden Bay Restaurant in the U.P. Has Huge Potential
Holy cow this is an amazing-looking restaurant and location.
I would love to own something like this at some point in my life. This lakeside restaurant on Garden Bay in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has everything I would want when it comes to a bar and grill. It is right on the water with plenty of boat docks, has a great patio, and so much more. The only downside is that it is in the upper peninsula and the older I get, the more I hate the cold.
However, if you don't mind the cold winters and can scrape together $710,000, you could own this spot with endless possibilities. This would be an amazing private residence or a kickass marina, vacation rental, or anything. The options are unlimited. The marina portion alone can easily fit 8 to 10 boats. The restaurant also sits on 2 acres of land and has plenty of parking.
This property is also only a couple of miles from Garden Township and right next to Bay Ridge RV Park. Garden Bay is just off of Big Bay De Noc in Lake Michigan. It was originally built as a cabin and private boathouse but has since had many updates and additions over the years.
The property really does have a lot of potential and could make whoever buys it very happy and wealthy if the restaurant was reopened right. Also, for only $710,000 it seems like a steal. Just that property alone I think is worth way more than that. Check it out for yourself below.
