Is Amazon’s New 30 Minute Delivery Service Coming to Michigan?
Alright, this is either incredibly convenient… or we’re all just becoming way too impatient and lazy. Probably both.
According to ABC 12, Amazon is rolling out a new service called “Amazon Now,” and the whole idea sounds pretty wild. The company wants to get certain items to your door in 30 minutes or less. This seems almost impossible, right? Well, leave it to Amazon to figure it out.
What Can Amazon Deliver in 30 Minutes?
We’re talking things like cough medicine, diapers, pet food, bananas, toothpaste, charging cables, batteries…basically all the random stuff you remember you need at the absolute worst possible moment. Oh yeah, and beer.

The service is already up and running in some bigger cities, and Amazon says it plans to roll it out to a bunch more by the end of the year. Instead of pulling orders from those massive warehouses, they’re using smaller local hubs stocked with thousands of everyday items people suddenly realize they need five minutes too late.
Is Amazon’s 30 Minute Delivery Service Coming to Michigan?

Amazon hasn’t officially said if Michigan is getting this yet, but come on… it feels like it’s only a matter of time. Amazon already has a huge presence around Metro Detroit, and they’ve even started drone deliveries there recently. So the idea of 30-minute deliveries showing up in Michigan honestly doesn’t sound all that crazy.
Of course, that kind of speed isn’t free. Yes, even Prime members would have to pay extra because there’s always a catch. The 30-minute delivery option starts at around $3.99 for Prime members, while non-members could pay closer to $13.99.
