Is Amazon Planning a Fulfillment Center in Flint?

A few years ago, we told you Amazon could be coming to Flint.

At the time, it was tied to a specific location. It was said they were going to build on the former Meijer lot right off Pierson Road at I-75 in Flint…and obviously, that never happened.

Well…the chatter is back.

Is an Amazon Fulfillment Center Coming to Flint, Michigan?

The biggest difference now?

This isn’t tied to that same location from before. It’s still in Flint…just a different spot.

What Is an Amazon Fulfillment Center?

Now, to be clear…this could end up being something different. But based on what we’re hearing, it lines up with what would typically be a fulfillment center.

It’s basically a massive warehouse where orders are stored, packed, and shipped out.

If you’ve ever gotten something from Amazon in a day or two…this is why.

Has Amazon Confirmed a Flint, Michigan Location?

Sorry, this isn’t 100% locked in.

There’s still:

• No official announcement
• No permits tied to Amazon (publicly)
• No confirmation locally

So yeah…this is still a rumor. But the sources we’re hearing from seem pretty confident it’s happening.

Possible Location for Amazon Fulfillment Center in Flint, Michigan

If our information is accurate, this would be a new build at the very end of Pier North Boulevard in Flint, right where the road dead ends.
