Andy Biersack is preparing to release his second Andy Black solo effort The Ghost of Ohio, which will be out this Friday (April 12) on Lava/Republic Records. In a recent interview with NME, he discusses the next step for his band Black Veil Brides, explaining that he doesn't know "what the next chapter is" because of their change in label and freedom to morph stylistically.

After confirming the band has plans to do something for the 10-year anniversary of the band's debut album, We Stitch These Wounds, Biersack says, "I think at this point, the plan is to kind of do a reimagining of the record...It's been fun to re-examine those songs 10 years later."

He continues to describe Black Veil Brides' musical direction in the past, which tended to lean hard-rock, especially with producer Bob Rock. "It was always like… there was predetermined elements to what the band was gonna be. And this is the first time, really, probably in years that I feel like I don't know what's gonna come next. I have ideas, I always think about what's gonna happen, but nothing's decided on. And I think it's gonna be a really exciting period for the band, because we were on the same label for years and years, and that's now changed, and it's a new situation," the singer says.

He continues, "I don't know what the next chapter is, and I don't know how the other guys are feeling about different things. We've got an opportunity now to kind of do what we're doing, and each of us are focusing on different projects, and we'll regroup and see where it goes."

Biersack will be heading out on a tour in support of the album starting May 1 at Gramercy Theatre in New York City. See the full list of dates here.
