Authorities Warning About Heroin Laced With Elephant Tranquilizer
Police in Kent County are warning the public about heroin being laced with an elephant tranquilizer. The combo is deadly - as in even a Narcan shot will not save users.
Although this heroin is popping up in Ohio - there is obviously potential for the deadly drug to make it into Michigan. Dealers are adding "Carfentanil" to the heroin. Elephant Care International reports that a dose the size of a snowflake can kill a human. According to reports in Akron County alone the deadly combo has played a part in 90 overdoses and 8 deaths.
