UPDATE 4/29/22: Spymaker Axe Throwing is now open on Center Road in Burton. Stay tuned for information on an upcoming Banana 101.5 live broadcast in May to celebrate the grand opening.

I have thrown a fit before, but I have yet to throw an axe. That will all change soon enough. The owners of Spymaker Escape Room on Miller Road in Flint are opening an axe-throwing business in Burton.

This will be the first (and only) axe-throwing business in Genesee County. I know plenty of people that drive an hour away if not longer to throw axes. This is going to be awesome to have in our own backyard.

According to MLive, the new spot will also feature escape rooms too, but those rooms will not be ready until 2022. No worries, you can still go to Spymakers in Flint for the escape rooms until the new year. I am pumped that we don't have to wait until then to chuck axes. Could this be the start of a new league? We already have the Banana Bad Bowlers League, The Banana Bad Golfers League, how about a Banana Bad Axe Throwing League? Now that sounds fun!

Spymaker Axe Throwing will be located at 1235 South Center Road in the Park Place Centre (across the street from the Ashely Home Store Outlet). You can see a picture of the plaza below.
