Benefit Show In Clio Aims To Help Family Devastated By Hurricane Harvey
The Vance family is originally from the Flint/Clio area. Years ago they moved from Michigan to Dickinson, Texas to start a family. unfortunately, flash floods caused by Hurricane Harvey destroyed a good portion of their home.
During the storms, they were rescued by boat from a second story room in their home. The couple is expecting a baby in February and the proud owners of two dogs. With their home destroyed and no flood insurance, the family is in a struggle.
On Friday, October 20th, 711 Entertainment along with Thundergrater and the Clio Eagles, will host an event to help this hometown family in need. The benefit kicks off at 7 pm with live music from Mad Anthony and the Dead Serious, Crimson Highway, and Thundergrater. The event will also feature raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a nacho bar, and more.
All the proceeds and donations will go directly to the Vance family to help them rebuild.
