Boy Calls 911 While in Car With Drunk Driving Mother

An 11-year-old boy called 911 after realizing his mother was drunk and behind the wheel of the vehicle, he was in.

According to WDIV, the two were on their way home from a minor league baseball game in Hillsboro, Oregon. She was obviously smashed out of her mind as other drivers on the road also called police after they noticed her crazy driving.

I give this kid a lot of credit for doing the right thing regardless of the outcome. I'm sure he felt it was a better outcome than the possibility of being killed. She had to of been just a train wreck for him to notice her driving, but then again, I have a feeling this wasn't the first time he's seen his mother wasted.

The 30-year-old mother was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. The boy is now in his grandparent's custody.

Of course, you should never be behind the wheel while under the influence of anything but especially with your kids in the car. Stupidity and mistakes go hand in hand, let's just hope woman has learned a lesson and gets the help she obviously needs.
