Excitement Builds as Bay City Awaits Its First Chick-fil-A

Anticipation continues to grow as Chick-fil-A prepares to open in Bay City. This will be the second Chick-fil-A in this general area, with the first already open on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw.

Michigan's newest Chick-fil-A will open at 3450 East Wilder Road on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 6:30 AM.

As noted in the post below, the opening celebration will feature a cow-themed event, where customers dressed in cow spots can receive a free entrée.

I might literally be the only person left who has never eaten at a Chick-fil-A. Seriously. When the Flint location on Miller Road first opened, it was packed every single day, so I figured I’d wait until the hype died down a little.

That was back in 2023. Now it’s 2026, and I still haven’t gone. Somehow, the line never seems any shorter. Someday, I will finally find out what all the fuss is about - so let me know what I should order when I do.

At this point, I might as well wait for the grand opening of the new Bay City location. In the meantime, get your cow-spotted gear or costume ready to score a free entrée.
