The reward money for information leading to an arrest of the person(s) responsible for a deadly hit-and-run in Clio has increased.

On Wednesday, April 23, 2023, Nicholas Giem was struck by a vehicle in Vienna Township while walking south on North Saginaw Road, just north of Wilson Road.

According to Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County, Giem, 35, was struck between 4:20 AM and 5:00 AM. Authorities believe the vehicle is a metallic blue 2018 Ram pickup truck, as shown in the photo below.

It has been two years, and no arrests have been made. We urge anyone with information to help close this case to come forward. Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward of up to  $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

If you have information and are concerned about your safety, you can choose to remain anonymous. I encourage anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL.
