The Detroit Lions have reportedly fired their team president and general manager.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported about noon Thursday at the team had relieved president Tom Lewand and GM Martin Mayhew of their duties.

The Lions are perhaps the NFL's most disappointing team at 1-7 after an 11-5 playoff campaign in 2014.

In 2008, Lewand and Mayhew were promoted to their respective positions. The Lions posted a 47-68 record during their six-and-a-half seasons at the helm, including an 0-2 mark in the postseason.

It's the second personnel move in as many weeks. On Oct. 26, the Lions fired offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi.
