Jeff Daniels Sings About Detroit Lions On ‘The Tonight Show’
Michigan's own Jeff Daniels is regular at Detroit Lions games. The longtime fan recently appeared on 'The Tonight Show' starring Jimmy Fallon and shared a song about the Detroit Lions and the curse of Bobby Layne.
If you are unfamiliar, Bobby Layne was a quarterback for the Detroit Lions in the 1950s. Back then, before the Super Bowl, Layne led the Lions to countless championships.
Unfortunately, Layne was eventually traded, and things started to go downhill for the franchise.
In October of 2022, Jeff Daniels and Peyton Manning joined forces to break the curse of Bobby Layne at Ford Field with a bathtub full of whiskey.
Fast forward to the 2024-2025 season and the Detroit Lions are crushing it. I think it is safe to say, the curse has been broken.
You can see a video of Jeff Daniels performing on 'The Tonight Show' below. There is a very good chance you will see Daniels this weekend in Detroit too.
The Detroit Lions take on the Washington Commanders at Ford Field this Saturday, January, 18th, 2025 at 8:00 PM.
Let's go Lions!
