Disney+ Adds ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ in Time for ‘Star Wars Day’
Disney+ has announced they will be adding Episode IX to the service on May 4th!
For the first time ever, fans will be able to watch all nine episodes on Disney+ on "Star Wars Day" on May 4th. For many of us, we have waited a long time to see all the episodes in The Complete Skywalker Saga. Even though we have had access to all the episodes since "The Rise of Skywalker" hit theatres in December of 2019, this will be the first time that super fans can watch the entire saga on Star Wars Day.
On top of adding Episode IX, Disney+ will also be releasing 'Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian,' which is a behind the scenes look at 'The Mandalorian.' This will be an eight-episode docuseries that will be hosted by its' creator Jon Favreau. As a Star Wars nerd and fan for my whole life, I am looking forward to finally watching all the movies back to back for my first time ever. However, it is still kind of sad. Seeing the final episode in theatres in December was the end of an era in my life.
