Don Felipe Mexican Restaurant is opening in Fenton.

This will not be the first Don Felipe in Genesee County. There is already an operating restaurant in Clio on Vienna Road, and the same team is now opening a new spot in Fenton.

Fenton continues to attract new restaurants. In addition to this latest development, two more chains-Pizza Hut Express and a Chipotle are also planned for the area.

Where is Don Filipe opening in Fenton?

The new spot will be at 3214 West Silver Lake Road, near Buffalo Wild Wings.

You may recognize the building as the former home of El Pato Mexican Fresh, which permanently closed in early January 2026.

What is on the menu at Don Filipe Mexican Restaurant?

Although an official menu for the Fenton location has not yet been revealed, the Clio restaurant offers a variety of Mexican favorites, including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, salads, nachos, and more. If the new spot follows a similar menu, customers can expect plenty of tasty options. From what I’ve seen, the food looks really good.
