Elderly West Bloomfield Man’s Body Found In Burned Vehicle

An investigation is underway in Gladwin County after the body of an elderly man was found in a burned car. Authorities were called to the scene on Friday around noon.

Reports were made of a burned vehicle in Lame Duck State Game Area of Bourret Township. When police arrived the found the remains of a body inside the vehicle. After a little bit of investigation it was determined that the remains were 86-year-old Edward M. Lakian of West Bloomfield.

The investigation is still underway.
