If you're an electrician interested in becoming a part of the Electrical Workers Union, you'll want to attend the Electrical Worker Job Fair this Thursday in Flint.

According to the IBEW Local 948, this is an opportunity to meet with some of the most progressive electrical contractors, both large and small. These contractors are looking for electricians interested in not only better wages and working conditions but also in expanding their knowledge of the trade or an apprenticeship. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

If you'd like to register in advance, click, here.

If you're interested in electrical or data work and career opportunities with employer-paid benefits then you should stop out this Thursday from 4-8pm. The job fair will be held at 1251 W. Hill in Flint.

Health insurance, retirement package, continuing education and training also available.

The career fair is free to attend and military veterans are encouraged. There will also be food and door prizes plus I'll be broadcasting live from the event until 7 pm.
