Exciting Revitalization Plans Unveiled For The Jewel Of Grand Blanc

The foreclosed Jewel of Grand Blanc is a hot topic. Since 2022 the golf course and clubhouse have been vacant, and it appears the property will be revitalized.

If you are unfamiliar, The Jewel of Grand Blanc is located at 5270 Perry Road, 48439. The Jewel of Grand Blanc property was also home to Paddy McGee's Bar and Restaurant.

ABC 12 announced earlier this week, that the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund issued the city of Grand Blanc a $1.5 million grant to do just that.

The space has been an eyesore for the last few years, so residents are excited about the redevelopment.

What are the plans for The Jewel of Grand Blanc Property?

Reports indicate the goal is to transform the property into a public park that will most likely feature the following attractions,

• Disc Golf Course
• Pickleball Courts
• Dog Park

The goal is to get people outside, and those activities would certainly do that.

Will houses be a part of the redevelopment of The Jewel of Grand Blanc?

Yes. Reports indicate that homes will be built on the north portion of the golf course.
