Dog lovers unite and vote for your local dog park in Fenton. The Thompson Road Regional Dog Park is now a finalist in the 2021 PetSafe Bark for Your Park grant contest. Now in its 10th year, the PetSafe grant contest will be awarding money to 10 dog parks across the country. The Fenton dog park is in the top 30 for this competition.

How much grant money can the Thompson Road Regional Dog Park win?
The 30 finalists in the PetSafe Bark for Your Park grant contest are split into two different groups. Twenty of the finalists are eligible to win $25,000 to build a new dog park. The other ten are eligible to win $5,000 in grant money to support, maintain, or improve the existing park.
Since the Thompson Road Regional Dog Park is in the "existing parks" category, the park could win a $5,000 grant.
When will the winners be announced?
Once the voting concludes on August 31st, the votes will be tallied and the 10 winners will be announced on September 2nd, 2021.
