Fenton Freedom Fest to Take Place During Fenton Street Experience
The Fenton Freedom Festival will look a little different again this year.
Up until 2020, the Fenton Freedom Festival took place all over Fenton for several days to celebrate the Fourth of July. After the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, many things have changed. As we gear up for the 2021 Fourth of July, the Fenton Freedom Festival will become a one evening event tie to the Fenton Street Experience.
When will the Fenton Freedom Festival take place?
This year's event will take place on Friday, July 2nd from 5 pm until 9 pm. This smaller-scale patriotic-themed event will take place during the Fenton Street Experience.
What events will be taking place?
Families will be able to head to the Fenton Street Experience and enjoy the following activities for the Freedom Festival.
- Fenton Freedom Festival Queen Crowning at 7 pm.
- Fenton Freedom Festival Scholarship Presentation at 7 pm.
- A petting zoo from 5 pm until 8 pm.
- A free treat from Uncle Ray's Ice Cream (first 200 people.)
- Cornhole
- Table tennis
- Connect 4
- Kids mini golf
- Kids "Chalk the Walk"
- DJ and Street Music
- Ciao Italian Bistro and Wine Bar
- The Trio from 5 pm until 7 pm
- Betty B and The RopeWalkers from 7 pm until 9 pm
- The Laundry
- Joe Snider on Cello from 5 pm until 7 pm
- Paul Scheller on Sax from 7 pm until 9 pm
- Ciao Italian Bistro and Wine Bar
Are there any other events that weekend during the Fenton Freedom Festival?
Yes. The Silver Lake Ski Club "Tribute to the 4th of July" show will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at 10 am. Admission is free to this event and will take place at Silver Lake Park on Jennings Road.
