Another Michigander finished strong this week at the Boston Marathon. A cross country coach at Fenton High School was able to place in the top 20 at the race.

Coach Jesse Anderson is the head cross country coach and assistant track coach at Fenton High School. Coach Anderson accomplished an amazing feat by finishing 20th overall at the Marathon on Monday. His goal was to make it in the top 50 this year, so it's safe to say that he blew his goal out of the water.

What makes it more impressive, for Coach Anderson and all the runners, was that the weather was not on their side. It rained most of the day and temperatures were near freezing. You would think that running would warm you up but it does not. I made the mistake of running in conditions like that before. It made the race extremely tough and I froze my ass off.
