Fenton Man Wins $250,000 in Mega Millions Lottery

Damn!  I am happy  to win two bucks on a scratch off lottery ticket, I can't imagine winning $250,000!

Congratulations to Fenton resident Michael Durgan who  hit it big in the Michigan Mega Millions Lottery. Durgan recently claimed his $250,000 jackpot!

MLive is reporting that Durgan purchased the ticket at Fenton Party Store on Silver Lake Rd.  He apparently stopped in to buy cigarettes and had the clerk check his ticket.  What a surprise to find out he was a big winner! Durgan said quote:

"When she checked the numbers and found the ticket to be a winner, I started shaking and so did she."

I guess he can buy a lot of cigarettes now!  Congrats!
