Flint Farmers’ Market Feature Local Farmers in ‘Growers Only’ Area
The Flint Farmers' Market is set to us a designated area for local farmers starting today.
If you are looking for some great, locally grown, produce, you should head down to the Flint Farmers' Market today! The market has decided to use the outdoor pavilion to feature Michigan farmers from 10 am until 2 pm. With the growing season in full swing, this "growers' only" area is a great place to check out the best produce in Michigan.
Michigan farmers that will be on hand today include:
- BeeNatural Farms of Flushing
- Maria's Garden of Corunna
- MarySam's Garden of Grand Blanc
- New Day Gardens of Flushing
- Red Bird Farms of Lapeer
- Simply Salads of Flint
- Winterfresh Greenhouse of Birch Run
Stop by and support great, local, Michigan Farmers, and pick up some produce. The indoor market will be open until 5 pm. Also, be sure to swing by Market Tap upstairs at the Flint Farmers' Market for Taco Tuesday at the Tap. Reward your self with a taco and some drinks after a day of shopping.
The Flint Farmers' Market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 am until 5 pm and features over 50 vendors inside alone and another 30 outside. The Market is located on First Street, just east of South Saginaw Street in downtown Flint.
We love the Flint Farmers' Market! Last summer, we would go to lunch there at least once per week. If you haven't been you are missing out. Actually, I would kill for a giant baked potato right now.
