Flint Man Attacked With Frying Pan by Woman Who Was Lighting Fireworks In Apartment

A Flint man caught a beat down via frying pan this past weekend, all because he was trying to stop a woman from lighting fireworks off in his apartment.

Police responded to a call from the Evergreen Regency housing complex off Lippencott on Sunday evening and found a 20-year-old woman being detained by security guards.  The 21-year-old victim told police the woman was his girlfriends sister and that she had been lighting fireworks off in his apartment.  The man went to stop the woman from lighting more off, at which point the woman became violent and threw a frying pan at the man, striking him in the head.

The man was treated at Hurley Medical Center and the woman is in police custody.
