A historic building in Flint will be renovated into a bar themed around the Flint Sit-Down Strike from 1936 to 1937.
According to ABC 12, a project spokesperson shared details on the overall vibe and atmosphere of the new bar,
It will be a unique gathering place in Flint, where Flint's union history and the strength and bravery of its workers will be celebrated – and patrons can eat, drink, socialize, and learn all in one place.
As of now, no official opening date has been announced for Sit Down Taproom & Purveyor. We will be keeping a close eye on the project and will provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.
