It Lies Within is known for their hard-hitting riffs, throat-shredding vocals and making any crowd that witnesses their live show explode. Their new cover of Zendaya's 'Replay' even has the Disney Channel crowd forming a circle-pit -- check it out here.

In a time where we're more concerned about the lack of real music for young people than we ever have been, Flint's own It Lies Within are taking an unexpected, but slightly brilliant approach -- bringing what they do to the current music of the young. Their newest song is a cover of Zendaya's platinum-selling 2013 single, 'Replay.' Zendaya is a well-known young artist, who also starred on Disney's popular, yet now defunct show 'Shake it Up.' Even if the song turns just one tween onto metal -- It Lies Within have fought the good fight.

The band's true motivation to cover such an uncharacteristic song was much simpler and less calculated than anything we've stated above though. "We chose this song so we could showcase our new clean vocalist Randy Mcclaughry aka RandAlive," said vocalist Zachary Scott. "This is not the new direction of It Lies Within persay, but just a showcase of our new upgrade."

It Lies Within are currently gearing up for the Brace Yourself Tour with Deception of a Ghost and A Faylene Sky, which kicks off February 14 in Providence, Rhode Island and wraps on March 9th in Greensboro, North Carolina. Before embarking on the 25-date trek, they hit Flint's very own Machine Shop for a headlining gig with Know Lyfe, A Sleepless Malice, Of All We Cherish, Shudder and Meridians this Friday, February 7th.
