it lies within

'It Lies Within' is one of the hardest working bands I know. The guys are overseas right now on the 'Living In The Fallout Tour'. To date on this tour - members Zach, Matt, Kam, Kyle and Erik have visited Germany, Amsterdam and Austria (just to name a few) and are now heading to Italy.

Flint based 'It Lies Within' kicks off 'The 11th Plague Tour' this Friday in Ohio. The cool thing is - the tour wraps up at The Machine Shop on December 18th. Let's make it one hell of a homecoming!

It Lies Within have unleashed a new music video for 'Trust in Yourself' and are seeking donations to fix their van so they can finish their tour.

When I hear anyone mention 'It Lies Within' - I immediately think of the hardest working band in the business! These guys have been plugging away for years and are getting the recognition they deserve. From Flint to Japan these guys are killing it!

One of our local favorites are proving that hard work and perseverance does pay off. It Lies Within just returned to The States from a tour in Japan and while they were gone, my curiosity sparked a few questions for the fellas about their experience.

If you were at Dirt Fest 2014 at the Birch Run Expo center I'm sure you have your favorite performances of the day.  These were mine in no particular order.  Did you see any of them?

It Lies Within is known for their hard-hitting riffs, throat-shredding vocals and making any crowd that witnesses their live show explode. Their new cover of Zendaya's 'Replay' even has the Disney Channel crowd forming a circle-pit -- check it out here.

I will never be able to pick a favorite local band, but It Lies Within is on the very short list.  Zach and his band of merry metal-men are back with a new track entitled 'The Watcher'.

Urban Combat League is a MMA organization, based out of the Flint area, and making quite a  reputation for itself.  Check out the highlights of their latest event, set the tunes of one of Flint's own, It Lies Within.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but Flint has an unbelievable local rock scene.  There are a lot of talented bands from the 810 and It Lies Within should be near the top of anyone's list.  Check out the video for their new song "Home Is Where The Heart Is".

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great bands in the 810.  But, few are creating the buzz that surrounds It Lies Within.  Even if these dudes weren't from Flint, they would still be one of my top bands of the year.  Check out some live footage of Zach and Matt answering questions and rocking out.
