The Garden Building of Grand Blanc Will Break Ground This Week
A groundbreaking presentation will occur this week in Grand Blanc, MI.
Crews will soon begin construction on a brand-new building in downtown Grand Blanc. Coming up on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, around 100 people are expected to gather at the future site of the Garden Building of Grand Blanc for a groundbreaking ceremony.

Around 50 people are set to be recognized for their roles and contributions to this project along with one receiving special recognition. Developer Erik Perkins and the Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance executive Director, Tyler Rossmaessler, will lead the presentation starting at 3:15 pm on Wednesday. The event will take place at 210 Reid Road in Grand Blanc. Parking for this event is available on the street as well as in the lot at Physician's Park.
The Garden Building of Grand Blanc will be a 30,000-square-foot building that will be used for many things. The $11-million project will provide retail space, a full-service restaurant, entertainment, and event space on the first floor. Office space and meeting rooms along with five residential units will occupy the second floor.
This new building is also expected to bring around 75 jobs to the downtown Grand Blanc area. Many residents are also wondering when the Garden Building of Grand Blanc will open. As of right now, developers are expecting that it will be open for business in September of 2024.
I can't wait to see how this turns out. It will be nice to see new stores and a new restaurant in Grand Blanc.
