Gaylord Woman Missing for 3 Weeks After Disappearing in Sterling Heights
Michigan State Police are asking for the public's help as they continue to search for a woman from Gaylord that went missing a little over three weeks ago.
Alexandria “Lexie” Gorman, 27, of Gaylord, went missing back on October 16. While Gorman is originally from Gaylord, Michigan, she disappeared while staying at a residence in Sterling Heights.
Gorman's family and the police are asking for any information that could help bring her home.
According to reports, Gorman left her job, boyfriend, and residence suddenly and without notice.
Her mother spoke with her in October and Gorman told her that she was in Virginia Beach, VA. Her social media accounts have gone inactive, and her phone goes to voicemail. Authorities in Virginia have been notified of her disappearance as well.
It seems so bizarre that someone would suddenly drop everything in their life and just disappear.
Most reports say that she is originally from Gaylord. However, I found one of her old accounts on Facebook that claims she is from St. Clair Shores, Michigan. That account has been inactive since 2014.
If you have any information on Gorman's whereabouts, you're asked to call the Gaylord Area Regional Dispatch at 989-732-5141 or call 911.
