Who’s Performing at the Genesee County Fair This Year?
The Genesee County Fair has been a huge part of the community for more than 175 years, making it one of Michigan’s longest-running traditions.
While plenty has changed over the years, the fair is still built around the same longtime favorites: animals, agriculture, carnival rides, fair food, grandstand events, and giving families something fun to do before summer comes to an end.
When is the Genesee County Fair?
This year’s Genesee County Fair runs August 24-30 at the fairgrounds on East Mt. Morris Road. Admission is free, although parking and some events will cost you.
Of course, one of the biggest questions every year is who’s performing.
Who’s Performing at the 2026 Genesee County Fair?
This year, the fair is mixing things up a bit with country music and a couple of early-2000s hip-hop favorites.
Country singer Braxton Keith will perform Thursday, August 27, with special guest Madison Olivia. Keith is probably best known for songs including “Cozy” and “Honky Tonk City.”

Then on Friday, August 28, Chingy will take over the grandstand with special guest Petey Pablo. That night should bring back plenty of memories for anyone who grew up listening to songs like “Right Thurr,” “Holidae In,” and “Freek-a-Leek.”

Both concerts begin at 7 p.m.
The fair will also feature the Truck and Tractor Pull, Figure 8 Demolition Derby, rodeo, Bump ‘N’ Run, Bull Mania, carnival rides, livestock shows, fair food, and plenty of other events throughout the week.
