After 25 Years, Popular Grand Blanc Restaurant Set to Close
A Grand Blanc staple will soon serve its final dinner as it prepares to close its doors for good after 25 years in business.
Over the past couple of years, Grand Blanc’s gotten a few new spots to eat, but it's also had to say goodbye to some longtime favorites. And now, it's about to lose another one.
For a lot of locals, this one hits a little harder as it’s been a go-to spot for special dinners, family celebrations, anniversaries, and pretty much everything in between.
Over the weekend, the owners of a local restaurant made the difficult decision to announce they would be closing their doors in the coming weeks.

What Grand Blanc Restaurant Is Closing After 25 Years in Business?
DaEdoardo North, Grand Blanc's top-tier northern Italian-style restaurant, is planning to close its doors for good.
According to a message posted by owner Eddie Barbieri III, 25 years is an accomplishment that he will always be proud of. He doesn't doubt that there will be opportunities for another restaurant in the future, but for now, he's going to take a break.
Over the past 25 years, I have raised my 4 children in Grand Blanc and the restaurant became a second home to all of us. I have poured my blood, sweat and tears into the restaurant. It has not always been easy, but I would like to believe we have maintained great service and nothing but the best food throughout the years.
The good news is, Da Edoardo North isn’t closing just yet. They’ll stay open through June 13, and on that final day, they’re planning a big celebration before shutting their doors for good.

I probably only had dinner at Da Edoardo a handful of times, but the food was out of this world every single time. It’s one spot in Grand Blanc that will definitely be missed.
