Harley Davidson is recalling nearly 175,000 motorcycles due to the possibility of brake failure.

According to NBC25, this recall covers over 30 models from the 2008 through 2011 model years. Apparently, a valve in the antilock brake control unit can stick due to deposits forming on brake parts which is caused by not changing the fluid every two years as specified in the owner's manual.

Harley-Davidson dealers will flush affected models' brake systems and refill the brake fluid with Platinum Label DOT 4 fluid, free of charge starting on Feb. 12.
