Oil Line Defect Causes Harley-Davidson To Recall 57,000 Bikes
Over 57,000 bikes worldwide are being recalled by Harley-Davidson due to a problem in the oil line.
Apparently, the oil line could come loose and spill into the path of the rear tire. Incorrect installation of an engine oil cooler line is being blamed as the cause.
According to Harley-Davidson, they've had 9 reports of this problem. Two of those ended in a crash.
If you purchased a Harley-Davidson between July 2, 2016 and May 9, 2017. You may want to contact your dealer as the problem affected 9 different models.
