Popular Snack Sold at Michigan Sam’s Club Recalled Over Listeria
Are you starting to feel a little uneasy lately when you do your grocery shopping, as more and more recalls keep popping up? Trust me, you're not alone.
Well, we've got another one you can add to the list.
This time around, it’s a popular snack item sold at Sam’s Club that you may have sitting in your pantry as we speak.
Freeze-Dried Snack Sold at Sam’s Club Recalled in Michigan
Sam’s Club is recalling 15-count boxes of Member’s Mark Freeze-Dried Fruit Variety Packs due to possible listeria contamination, according to the FDA.
The boxes were sold between July 1 and July 25, so yeah, there’s a good chance some are still sitting in pantries across Michigan and other parts of the country. No one’s gotten sick yet, but listeria isn’t something to mess around with, especially if you’re pregnant, older, have little kids, or a weak immune system.

The issue popped up during the company’s own internal testing. Well, at least you know they're testing things.
The snack comes in foil pouches inside a cardboard box, and the lot number and expiration date are printed right on the bottom.
