One chocolate bar found in Michigan is currently experiencing a recall by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The product was recalled back in May due to a problem with the brand's hazelnuts. The hazelnuts were deemed "undeclared" meaning they could cause a life-threatening allergic reaction for some people.

The chocolate bar in question is the Potato Chip mini bars produced by Chuao Chocolatier.

However, individuals sensitive to hazelnuts face a risk of serious allergic reactions if they consume the affected bars. Symptoms may include rashes, swelling, gastrointestinal issues, and in severe cases, anaphylaxis—a medical emergency requiring immediate hospital treatment.
