Are three Hooters locations in Michigan at risk of closing? As the company considers bankruptcy, that may indeed be the case.
You are not alone if you do not remember the last time you visited a Hooter's restaurant. Low traffic is a big part of why the company is considering bankruptcy. Do people give a 'hoot' about Hooters anymore?
NBA star Devin Booker does. Booker, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, recently tweeted 'Plz don’t go Hooters'. The baller is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has been a big fan of the chain restaurant for quite some time.
If you too are a Hooters fan don't panic quite yet. According to the New York Post, even if the Atlanta-based company that owns Hooters decides to file for bankruptcy, the goal is to restructure - not permanently close all locations.
How many Hooters locations are open in Michigan?
There are three Hooters locations still operating in the Great Lakes State. Locations are as follows,

We certainly hope the company can turn things around. It will be interesting to see what restructuring would look like exactly.
