I Prevail Release ‘Paranoid’ Music Video
I Prevail have just released a music video for their new Trauma song "Paranoid."
It's the third single to arrive from the soon-to-be-released record and again tackles the subjects of mental health and inner battles. In the video, singer Brian Burkheiser plays a surgeon who just ingested the wrong pill by mistake. He's called into a critical situation at the emergency room and, despite his mental fog and overwhelming paranoia, operates on the patient. The lines blur between reality and paranoia and the clips examine the worst situation.
This video follows the release of "Bow Down" and "Breaking Down."
Trauma, the band's second album, arrives March 29 through Fearless Records and can be pre-ordered here. It's the first since Burkheiser had a vocal polyp surgically removed in 2017.
"After my vocal injury, I almost gave up and left my band. I was in the worst mental state of my life and felt like everything we worked for was over," the singer wrote on Instagram, adding, "Early last year though, I told myself that if we were going to get back and write another record it needed to be done OUR WAY. No label telling us who to work with, or what our music should sound like. No negativity coming in from outside sources. No cookie cutter BS."
