
Mid-Michigan Woman Killed By Hit-And-Run, Police Need Your Help
When walking across the street you would think that normal common sense applies. But even when kids are getting dropped off by a school bus, Michiganders just don't seem to care and will pass that bus. Most go into the oncoming traffic lane but some morons pass on the shoulder, coming close to or killing the kids.

Things are even worse at 3:30 in the morning. Once the bars close, Michiganders of a certain age will go elsewhere. They either sober up a bit, or continue their trend. Either way, by 3:30 a.m. you have to be incredibly careful walking anywhere that a car can come out of nowhere.
Brandt, Michigan Woman Killed In Early Morning Hit-And-Run
Sadly, that is what happened to Melissa Spitler from Saginaw County. The 53-year-old Brandt woman was the victim of a hit-and-run in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Just prior to 3:30 Saturday morning, the Saginaw County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the location where witness reported that a woman was struck by a vehicle.

While initial reports from witnesses showed obvious concern for the victim, they were unable to identify the vehicle involved.

When police arrived at the scene in Albee Township on Fergus Road near Bishop Road, they found the victim. Officials pronounced Melissa Spitler dead at the scene.
