Measles is a disease that is running rampant throughout many states. According to the CDC, about 1 in 5 people in the U.S. who get measles will be hospitalized.

"As of March 7, 2024, a total of 45 measles cases were reported by 17 jurisdictions: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York City, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington."

There were only 58 total measles cases throughout the entire country during 2023. But in the first three months of 2024, we almost beat the previous year's total number.
