Join Banana 101.5 Friday Night For The Flint Premiere Of ‘The Russian Five’ [VIDEO]

The Flint premiere of the highly anticipated documentary 'The Russian Five' is tomorrow night at the Capital Theatre in downtown Flint. Chris Monroe will be broadcasting like prior to the showing from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Doors officially open at 6:30 PM.

This documentary is the incredible story of the first all Russian line in NHL history. Those of you that have followed the team are well aware of Sergi Federov, Igor Larionov, Viacheslay Fetisov, Vyacheslav Kozlov and Vladimar Konstantinov. These great players make up 'The Russian Five'.

The documentary takes us through the men joining the Detroit Red Wings, struggling to fit in - let alone communicate with other team members. You will see the team turned into winners and how these five men became true American heroes.

'The Russian Five' debuted in 2018 and has since won several awards. It will begin showing in Michigan theaters on March 22, 2019. This does include showings at NCG in Grand Blanc. You can get screening times here.
